Collaboration Squares

Each student was given one page to color with either crayons or colored pencils.
They could use any colors or combinations that they wished.

When they were all done, they cut out each Collaboration Square.

The squares were put on a table and an attempt was made to group them
with 3 others of similar colors and style. Not alway easy.

The four matching squares were glued on various colors of construction paper.

The completed pictures were hung in the hallway of the school for about a month.
At the end of the month, the pictures were removed and placed on the whiteboard
tray. I randomly chose student names using my class tongue depressors.  Only those
that had pictures were able to choose a completed square to take home.
